Royal Crescent - Viewpoint
About This Bridgerton Filming Location
The iconic Royal Crescent serves as the exterior home of the Featherington family in Bridgerton, digitally enhanced through CGI to appear as part of a London Georgian square. Built between 1767-1775, this sweeping curve of 30 Grade I listed terraced houses forms Bath's most striking landmark. The production team used No.1 Royal Crescent specifically for exterior shots of cast members entering and exiting the house, with the building's facade enhanced with ornamental features including roundels, window pediments, and a CGI balcony to suit the Featherington family's pretensions. The very first scenes of Series 1 feature three establishing shots of Bath in sunshine, with elegant members of the ton promenading with parasols along the Royal Crescent.
